TOPIC: "Are Our Elections Secure?"

The magic of Braver Angels events is the comradery, the pleasant surprise of finding common ground, and the lights bulbs that illuminate upon learning something new. This is why Carroll County Braver Angels is hosting a monthly discussion group to allow just these kinds of experiences to take place. 

All are welcome to attend, reconnect with one another, and discuss in a structured format the news and issues that are important to you.

Our news sources impact how we see the world. As a result, staying within our own opinion “echo chambers” may limit our understanding of complex issues and may contribute to polarization.

The Walk a Mile in My News program encourages us to respectfully “reach across the aisle” and get to know people who have different opinions. By participating, we are likely to understand better how those with different views arrive at their position while potentially learning something new about ourselves!
